ROCKET MONEY REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Referral Program Terms and Conditions (the “Program Terms”) contain important information about the way referral bonuses are offered by Rocket Money, Inc (“Rocket”) and earned in connection with existing Rocket Money users who refer eligible individuals to sign up for a Rocket Money Premium Membership (the “Referral Program”). The Program Terms herein are in addition to the Rocket Money Terms of Service.

All participation in and referrals made through the Referral Program are subject to and governed by the specific Offer Terms, these Program Terms and the Rocket Money Terms of Service.

Eligibility

This Referral Program is only available to eligible Rocket Money users with an active Premium Membership in good standing. “Good standing” means you paid your most recent Premium fee in the last 30 days, you do not have any past due balances, you have not cancelled your Premium Membership, and you are not in violation of the Rocket Money Terms of Service.

In order to earn a Referral Bonus, you must satisfy the Offer Terms as well as these Program Terms, and your Membership must not be canceled or past due on the date the Referral Link is sent out or when you have qualified to earn the Referral Bonus.

Referral Bonuses

• There are limits to the number of Referral Bonuses that can be earned by an eligible user. See the specific Offer Terms for more details. Each user is only eligible for Referral Bonuses up to the annual limit.

• Please allow thirty (30) days for the Referral Bonus to post to your account after each referred individual satisfies the Offer Terms.

• The value of the Referral Bonus may be treated as taxable income for the primary user of the membership that earns a Referral Bonus. The primary user is solely responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from the Referral Bonus. Please consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment and tax implications of a Referral Bonus.

Referral Program Restrictions

• Joint Rocket Money Premium Memberships shall be considered a single user or account for the referral bonus annual limits i.e. if an offer term has an annual limit of three (3) referrals, a joint account is only be eligible for up to 3 referrals.

• You cannot earn a Referral Bonus for referring individuals who currently or previously have or had a Rocket Money Account, or who have been referred by someone else. If two or more existing user refer the same individual, Rocket will credit the Referral Bonus to the user whose Referral Link was used by the referred individual to sign up and get the Premium Membership.

• This Referral Program is intended for you to invite only your interested personal friends, family and known acquaintances to apply for Rocket Money Premium utilizing your Referral Link provided to you by Rocket. You may not share referrals with yourself.

  • Whenever and wherever you refer a friend under the Referral Program, any additional statements you make, of which are not provided by Rocket, about our products or the Referral Offer, must be:

    • consistent with the content and materials Rocket provides you and/or your friends;

    • truthful, accurate, factually supported, not misleading; and

    • reflect your honest beliefs, opinions, or experiences with your Rocket.

  • Any modification or efforts to bypass, manipulate, obscure or otherwise modify the delivery and accurate presentation of the referral link, sharing tools, content, disclosures or other materials and instructions Rocket provides will be considered a violation of these terms.

Friends, Families and Acquaintances Only

• You should not publish or distribute your Referral Link in locations where the audience is likely to include individuals you do not know or who may not be interested in Rocket Money Premium.

• If you decide to post your Invite Link on any third-party website or platform, such as a social media website, you must also comply with that third party’s terms of use.

• You should also be aware that by engaging in such activity on a third party site: (1) you will be, at your own risk, subjecting yourself to those third party sites' privacy, security and consumer practices and policies which Rocket does not endorse or control, and (2) that those third party sites may be able to tell, based on your activity, that you are a Rocket Money user

• You also acknowledge and accept that the individuals you refer will know that you are a Rocket Money User

Program Violations – Bonus Forfeiture, Termination

• Any violation or abuse of the Referral Program may result in the forfeiture of the Referral Bonus and/or program participation ineligibility for your Account, in our sole discretion. Forfeiture of any Referral Bonus may occur at any time during the tenure of your time as a Rocket Money user.

• Rocket reserves the right to limit, cancel, or revoke Referral Bonuses if Rocket, in our sole discretion, find that you have (i) acted in bad faith in participating in the Referral Program, (ii) violated these Program Terms, and/or (iii) if Rocket restricts or closes your Account pursuant to the Rocket Money Terms of Service

Additional Terms

• Please note that specific Offer Terms may vary by individual referral offers under the Referral Program.

• Any applicable terms & restrictions in the Rocket Money Terms of Service shall apply to the Referral Program for your Membership.

• If different Offer Terms are available later, you can only avail yourself of those specific Offer Terms which are live and active when your Referral Link is used.

• The Rocket Money Terms of Service govern all use of the Rocket Money membership and these Program Terms do not amend, supersede, change or replace the Terms of Service.

Changes to the Referral Program or these Program Terms

• Rocket reserves the right to suspend, cancel, terminate or modify this program, these terms and conditions and/or any offers made through this Referral Program at any time at our sole discretion.

• You are deemed aware of and bound by such changes by your continued access to or participation in the Referral Program.

• Rocket will indicate changes made by updating the "Last Updated" date above at the beginning of these Program Terms. If you do not accept any such changes, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cease participation in the Referral Program.
